Claire Camaya has been an educator for over 12 years. She holds a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction, with her dissertation work centered on autism and social skills instruction. She also holds a master’s degree in English Literature and Women’s Studies. She has extensive experience teaching, consulting, and designing programs for children with varying needs, including learning differences, Down Syndrome, Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Fragile X, and ADHD.
She has worked in a variety of educational settings, including learning centers as well as public and private education. She is trained in various research-based programs and has experience utilizing research-based teaching methodologies to address the individual’s learning needs.
She believes each student has the potential for academic and life-long success, and she strives to help students realize that success.
